The Auction Timeline – What You Can Expect

  • Weel 1

Contract Executed and Marketing Plan Estalished

Once contracts are signed, we hit the ground running. Signage is installed, photos and videos are taken, and develop the marketing plan so that when all our digital materials are ready, we can launch the advertising.

  • Week 2

    Ongoing Marketing Execution

During the second week, our team is focused on continue to design the advertising layouts and executing our marketing plan with digital ads, email blasts, print news layouts, and direct mail postcards and brochures.

    Week 2

  • Week 3

    Advertising Efficacy

While advertising is running, our team is constantly analyzing it’s efficacy to ensure we are reaching the desired target market. We are paying close attention to our website visitors, the amount of time they are spending review materials; then taking that data to make real-time decisions in order to revise our marketing plan.

  • Week 4

    Buyer Interaction

Depending on the campaign, some auctions will take 3-5 weeks for marketing. Those decisions are based on the amount of time and effort it takes to ensure we have qualified bidders interested in the property up for sale by auction. Typical projects that take 3 weeks are investment properties, whereas, projects that take 4-5 weeks are commercial and luxury real estate auctions. During week 4 we are holding open houses and building relationships with buyers to gauge the interest in the auction.

    Week 4

  • Week 5

    Ready for Auction

The last week before the auction is crucial to the success of the auction. This is the time that we are following up with serious buyers and ensuring we have answered all questions. During these conversations, our team is focused on converting interested buyers into potential auction bidders.

  • Auction Day

    Bidders Ready!

Today is the day buyers become bidders and the property is sold at auction. All of the prep work that’s been completed over the marketing period comes to life by putting competitive buyers together to drive the price up. Whether the auction is held live onsite or online only, bidders will compete to purchase and be the last bidder.
